The R1's built-in speakers, located above the ears, allow you listen to your music or to voice communication without the need of headphones. This design enables awareness of your surroundings. The integrated microphone features Sena's patented Advanced Noise Control™ technology, picking up and transmitting your voice clearly.
COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FELLOW RIDERS USING GROUP INTERCOM
The R1 features Group Intercom™, allowing you to communicate with other riders wearing an R1. Up to four people can connect to each other and keep a conversation going with a range of up to a half-mile.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING WITH YOUR PHONE FOR ON-THE-GO ACCESS
By pairing your phone to the helmet, the R1 allows you to hear GPS navigation, take phone calls, hear fitness app cues and listen to your favorite tunes. The helmet also features an integrated FM radio, allowing you to tune in to local radio stations.
PROTECTION FOR THE ROAD AND COMFORT FOR THE JOURNEY
The R1 is built to withstand an impact, providing necessary protection thanks to an in-mold polycarbonate shell with expanded polystyrene liner. The helmet is lined with removable and washable inner padding, a smooth eco-leather chin strap with a perfectly placed chin pad, and a spin lock, all for superior protection and a cozy fit. An optional visor (sold separately) offers sun protection.
CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS WITH THE SENA SMARTPHONE APP
The Sena Smartphone App allows you to take control of the R1's features. Through the app, you can enable groups of intercom friends to easily connect with one another, save presets of your favorite FM stations, and access the product Quick Guide on the go.
HOW TO MEASURE
- Wrap a soft, flexible measuring tape horizontally around your head 1 inch above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape softly snug, read the length, and repeat for accuracy. Use the largest measurement.
- Select the helmet size that is closest to your head measurement from the Size Chart above. If your head measurement falls between two helmet sizes, it is suggested to go with the smaller size.
